3. How hungry is this team?

The Ravens have nothing to gain in this game. They have a bye week in the first week of the playoffs. The Ravens won’t be playing a bunch of their best players as they will save them for said playoffs. How the Ravens approach this game as a whole will say a lot about this team.

One thing that has been the signature of this team has been their focus on a week to week basis. They have demolished good teams the same way they have done to the bad teams. They have won 11 straight games. That’s why this game technically doesn’t matter. The team has earned the right to rest their starters. This team has built an unbelievable amount of momentum and momentum matters going into the post season. Winning this game with the B-team could further galvanize the Ravens.

This is also a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. the top rival of the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens can make sure no amount of help could get the Steelers in the postseason. The Steelers have knocked the Ravens out of the postseason before, winning this game would be a good dose of payback for those painful moments. Taking this game seriously would be a good look for the purple and black. It would send a statement to the rest of the NFL that the this Ravens team doesn’t plan on losing another game.

That doesn’t mean that this is a meaningless game. The way the Ravens play in this game will show you a lot about the heart of this team.
