Welcome to the Ebony Bird Round Table. Here are picks for the week 17 clash against the Steelers

Chris Schisler:

Give me the Ravens in this game. I think the Ravens will beat the Steelers as much as I think the Steelers will beat themselves. The Steelers just lost in the worst possible way to the New York Jets. This is the same Jets team that the Ravens crushed on a short week, so it was a very bad loss for Pittsburgh. The Steelers have a good defense, but how much do the Ravens really have to do to out-duel Devlin Hodges? That’s the entire point. The Ravens just need to score 17 points and this one should be a win to end the regular season. I expect the Ravens to get their 14th victory, even without a lot of the core pieces of this team.

Here are three predictions for this game. First I think Robert Griffin III has a solid outing. I don’t think he will put up the kind of numbers we are used to seeing from Lamar Jackson, but I also don’t think he’ll fall flat on his face.

Give me a stat line something like 18-28 passing for 180 yards passing. I think the running backs will do most of the work on the ground. I think Justice Hill will have his first 100 yard rushing performance and Gus Edwards will have some big runs in Mark Ingram II’s absence. Finally, I think the Steelers will turn the ball over three times and the Ravens will win an ugly defensive battle.

Put me down for a Ravens win. I’m thinking 20-10.
