Darin McCann makes his pick:

The 2019 Baltimore Ravens have exceeded the expectations of most this season behind their MVP quarterback, imposing run game and stout defense. They wrap things up against their most-heated rival, the Pittsburgh Steelers, with not a lot to gain with a win, except ending the Steelers playoff hopes.

Here’s to hoping they do just that.

The Ravens are sitting many of their top players, trying to avoid a catastrophic injury before the playoffs begin. That leaves them a bit shorthanded against a game Steelers team that has relied on a top-tier defense and big plays to even stay in playoff contention with serious flaws at the quarterback and running back positions.

With Robert Griffin III leading the Ravens offense today, and with Mark Andrews, Mark Ingram, Marquise Brown and Marshal Yanda presumably absent, expect Gus Edwards, Miles Boykin and Hayden Hurst to lead the way on offense. Defensively, it’s hard to see the Pittsburgh offense generating a ton against the Ravens.

Expect this one to go down to the wire, in a fast-moving, run-oriented, old-fashioned street fight of a game.

Bold predictions
• Gus Edwards runs for 120 yards and a touchdown.

• Hayden Hurst catches seven passes for 80-plus yards.

Chuck Clark has an interception.

Final score
Ravens 16 Steelers 13
