2. Ronnie Stanley:

One of the best things about the Ravens having their magical season is that Ronnie Stanley is getting his due. Stanley has always been a good left tackle and this season he has elevated his game even higher. Stanley is one of the best pass blockers at the left tackle position; yet he is clearly the best run blocking left tackle in the game. Stanley is asked to do a lot as a run blocker. It’s not like some offenses where the tackle just block the guy across from him and call it a play; Stanley has to move it and set up runs that have a chance to be game changing plays.

Stanley getting the first team nod is a win for the entire offensive line. The Ravens have some true stars on the offensive line as Marshal Yanda was voted as a second team All-Pro. The fact that Stanley was recognized higher than his teammate who is an obvious future Hall of Fame inductee, says something. Stanley is leading the charge on an offensive line that is having historic success. Jackson rarely has to worry about pressure coming off his left side. Stanley is one of the best players in the game but because he does his job so routinely it doesn’t always get a ton of attention.

The Ravens have run for more yards in the 2019 season than any team ever has before. Having the best ground game of all time starts with the offensive line. Stanley is the biggest piece of the best line in the game. This is Stanley’s first time on the All-Pro team, however it won’t be his last. Stanley is possibly going to be one of the best offensive linemen of his generation and it feels like he is just entering the prime of his career.
