Who should the Ravens want to see?

The Ravens can play either the Houston Texans, the Buffalo Bills or the Tennessee Titans. If the Patriots win they will play the Kansas City Chiefs. The Texans seem like the most favorable match up for the Ravens. The Texans have already had a bad day in Baltimore this season. The Ravens toppled the Texans to the score of 41-7. Lamar Jackson had four touchdown passes and 222 yards passing to go with his 79 yards on the ground. The Texans gave the Ravens a struggle in the beginning with their best shot. The Ravens still blew the game wide open and turned on the jets. The Texans have the 25th ranked run defense and the Ravens know how to slow down their offense.

The Ravens had a tough game against the Bills. It went their way, yet if I were John Harbaugh I wouldn’t want to see them again. The Ravens will be favored in every possible match up and rightfully so, though the Bills match up well. The Bills have a defensive front that is athletic and powerful enough to at least slow down Jackson a little bit. Josh Allen struggled to connect on deep passes against the Ravens in their regular season bout. If Allen had hit a couple of them, it could have ended the Ravens win streak. The Ravens would probably beat the Bills, but this seems like the toughest match up.

The Titans are a team that the Ravens haven’t played. If the Titans beat the Patriots they will go into Baltimore with an offense that is on fire and a ton of confidence. The Titans are one of those wild card teams who could be getting hot at the right time. The Ravens are the better team, yet the Titans would provide a challenge.

The Ravens have to be ready for whatever comes their way. The Ravens are the best team in the league. If they focus and play their best, they should walk away victorious. Match ups still matter so if you’re looking for a rooting interest today, as a Ravens fan, the potential match ups should be on your mind.
