3. Advantages that Baltimore has in this game:

The Ravens have a handful of advantages in this contest. They have had time to rest and to prepare for this game. The Titans just got through one of the toughest games they’ve had all season. The game being on Saturday increases the Ravens advantage of having the bye week a bit. The Titans will come into this game as underdogs with a lot to prove. The Titans were one of the sexy picks in the Wild Card round, but winning a game in Baltimore will be much tougher for them. The match up has a lot of problems for the Titans.

The Titans defense is not a dominant unit. The Titans pass defense is a real vulnerability and the idea of them stopping the Ravens’ rushing attack is just crazy talk. The Ravens know what to expect from the Titans’ defense led by Dean Pees. If the Ravens play their game, Jackson should have a great performance in a win. The Titans don’t stack up favorably against the defenses that the Ravens have shredded apart this season. On a short week, they have to figure out how to stop Lamar Jackson. The Ravens have the hardest offense to prepare for in the NFL, an idea that has been proven all season long. The Titans have some things working for them in this match up, but let’s not pretend they are equipped to take away the things that make edition of the Baltimore Ravens so special.

We know that the Ravens are going to be able to run the football in this game. The Patriots had 98 rushing yards against the Titans, and they only had 22 rushing attempts in the contest. We know that if the Ravens get a lead in this game they can take the Titans out of their element. A typical fast start for the Ravens would put a ton of pressure on the Titans. Expect the Ravens to beat a tough opponent at home. This is a game that Super Bowl worthy teams survive and the Ravens are a Super Bowl worthy team.
