Marlon Humphrey:

The best cornerback in the league finally got the love he’s rightfully deserved in 2019. Marlon Humphrey earned Pro Bowl and First-Team All-Pro honors after locking down opposing receivers all year long. It wasn’t a cakewalk, either, as Humphrey played against the likes of Odell Beckham Jr., JuJU Smith-Schuster, Tyler Lockett, DeAndre Hopkins, Robert Woods, and a plethora of others.

What Humphrey did week-after-week was ridiculous. As an opposing quarterback, you knew not to throw his direction. Still, Humphrey recorded three interceptions and forced two fumbles. Humphrey also scored two touchdowns. The dude was a playmaker for the defense.

The most impressive aspect of Humphrey’s 2019 season was the way he adjusted his game according to what the defense asked of him. When the team was dealing with injuries to key starters like Jimmy Smith, Humphrey lined up outside and even played well inside vs. slot receivers. Whatever you asked of him, Humphrey was going to step up and provide you with his best play.

Humphrey was arguably the best player on the Baltimore Ravens defense in 2019 and we won’t soon forget his wonderful 2019 season. At 23-years old, his best football is ahead of him, but here’s a game ball for his masterful year.
