Honorable mentions:

You can’t sign every free agent on the market, but there are a few longshots we’d love to see.

Shaquil Barrett easily tops the list here. Barrett just recorded a league-leading 19.5 sacks in 2019. To put that in perspective, Barrett had just 14 career sacks in four seasons prior. Barrett is about to get paid the big bucks should the Tampa Bay Buccaneers not resign him.

Another edge rusher who comes to mind is Bud Dupree. Dupree has been productive throughout his tenure with the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he broke out in 2019 behind a career-high 11.5 sacks. Dupree would be an excellent add who would also weaken the Baltimore Ravens division rivals.

Los Angeles Rams edge rusher Dante Fowler also notched 11.5 sacks in 2019. Fowler has aged like a fine wine in the NFL and will be just 26-years old when the 2020 season kicks off.

Arik Armstead has also taken time to blossom into the star that he’s become. Armstead led the San Francisco 49ers in sacks with 10.0 on the year. Armstead would be a versatile chess piece for the Ravens, as he’s big enough to line up as a 5-tech for the team, but can play out-wide as well.

Two wide receivers Baltimore should entertain are A.J. Green and Robby Anderson. We all know who Green is, as he’s been dubbed the “Raven Killer” by fans thanks to his historic dominance of the Ravens, but he’s been banged up in recent years. If Baltimore could get him on a cheap deal he has the upside to be the team’s X-receiver. As for Anderson he brings more speed to an already fast Ravens offense. Anderson would be a great fit for what Baltimore is trying to establish offensively.
