What the Ravens can learn from the Kansas City Chiefs:

The number one thing that stands out about the Chiefs is the incredible amount of talent they have around Patrick Mahomes. The Chiefs have Tyreek Hill and Mecole Hardman at the wide receiver position, which is an almost unfair amount of speed. Sammy Watkins and DeMarcus Robinson are good as well. Travis Kelce is one of the best tight ends in the game. Mahomes may be the most important part of everything they do, yet the talent the Chiefs have around him is off the charts. The Chiefs and the Ravens have both found the right quarterback. The Chiefs have put more around their star quarterback and it’s the biggest reason they are in the Super Bowl. Mahomes may be ahead of Jackson as a passer, yet he may not be playing in the big game if his wide receivers were Marquise Brown, Willie Snead, Seth Roberts, Miles Boykin and Chris Moore.

The Ravens have three good tight ends. Mark Andrews can be put in the same category as Travis Kelce. Brown has the potential to become the kind of superstar that Hill is for the Chiefs. The Ravens just have to invest much more heavily in the wide receiver position. The Chiefs are a perfect example that you can never have too much fire power in this era of football.

The Chiefs have some weaknesses. They don’t have a dominant run game and their defense isn’t great. It doesn’t matter. The Chiefs have an explosive offense. They have more talent in the pass game than any team can completely keep up with.

There is no blueprint for stopping the Chiefs. Eventually, Mahomes will start to win the battle. He’s got too many weapons to be stopped. When you play against the Chiefs, you just have to slow them down enough to win the game. The Ravens have a great plethora of running backs and tight ends. If the Ravens get a dangerous set of receivers, they can have an offense that there is no blueprint for stopping.
