Top offensive lineman:

The candidates: Ronnie Stanley, Marshal Yanda, Orlando Brown Jr.

The winner: Ronnie Stanley

Collectively, the Baltimore Ravens had perhaps the NFL’s best offensive line. Even at the team’s weak links at left guard and center, Baltimore still received quality play from guys like Bradley Bozeman, Matt Skura, and Patrick Mekhari.

The real heroes for the Ravens were the three Pro Bowlers (shocker), Ronnie Stanley, Marshal Yanda, and Orlando Brown Jr.

Stanley has been playing at an elite level for the last two seasons and has been a quality left tackle since entering the league in 2016. Stanley was finally awarded his first career Pro Bowl this past year. Yanda is a future Hall of Famer at right guard, earning his eighth career Pro Bowl selection will grinding opposing defensive players into the ground. Brown Jr., better known as “Zeus Jr.,” earned his first career Pro Bowl in just his second season behind his dominant play.

All three were instrumental as both run and pass blockers for the Baltimore Ravens in 2019. The offensive line was as good as it was because the three were so collectively good and in sync with one another. Still, we’re here to award the best to one of them and we’re going with Ronnie Stanley.

The importance of having a franchise-caliber tackle cannot be overlooked. The fact that Baltimore has bookend tackles is beyond fortunate for the team, but Stanley’s importance to the organization gets him the edge here.
