The 2020 NFL schedule is not out yet, however we know who the Baltimore Ravens will play. Here is a breakdown of the 2020 Ravens opponents at home and on the road:

The Baltimore Ravens 2020 schedule isn’t going to be out for a while. The way that the 2019 season ended though, all we want to do is get back to Ravens football. Baltimore needs a reprieve from the sour taste that the playoff loss gave them. Let’s dive into the 2020 list of opponents for the Ravens. We’ll start with the games at home:

Ravens opponents at M&T Bank Stadium:

  • Pittsburgh Steelers
  • Cleveland Browns
  • Cincinnati Bengals
  • Dallas Cowboys
  • Tennessee Titans
  • New York Giants
  • Kansas City Chiefs
  • Jacksonville Jaguars

The Ravens get their yearly home battles with their divisional rivals as always. The Ravens don’t have a run of the mill slate of home games though; there are some big games to be at in Baltimore. The Ravens have gone to Kansas City in back to back seasons and now they get a chance to host the Chiefs. A battle with the defending Super Bowl champions could have huge implications in the playoff picture. If this is a late season battle, it could realistically be for the number one seed in the conference playoffs. Lamar Jackson vs. Patrick Mahomes is developing into a special rivalry.

The Ravens will get a chance for revenge against the Titans. A win against Mike Vrabel’s team won’t heal the playoff scar, yet it would feel great in the moment. A showdown with the Dallas Cowboys is never boring or uneventful. The Ravens should be featured in prime time more this season and that game has a Sunday Night Football feel to it.

The Ravens should be able to build a strong record in front of their home crowd. They will go into the 2020 season as team with the most confidence in the AFC North. The New York Giants and the Jacksonville Jaguars both sound like teams the Ravens should beat. The battles with Kansas City and Tennessee are easily the toughest battles on this list.

Ravens opponents on the road:

  • Pittsburgh Steelers
  • Cleveland Browns
  • Cincinnati Bengals
  • Washington Redskins
  • Indianapolis Colts
  • Philadelphia Eagles
  • Houston Texans
  • New England Patriots

The one thing that stands out here is that there is no perfect road trip. Washington and Philadelphia are easy trips for the Ravens Flock, but they aren’t the most exciting options. The trip to Indianapolis is probably the most appealing road trip. It’s under 10 hours, and it’s a cool city with an awesome looking stadium.

Battles with the Patriots are always a big deal, yet we don’t know what the 2020 Patriots will look like. If Brady exits New England, it won’t be the same. That’s actually a theme of this batch of road game; it’s hard to know what to think about a lot of these teams. Washington has a brand new coach, a young quarterback and is trying just to be competitive. The Colts were competitive in 2018, but finished 7-9. The Eagles were up and down the whole 2019 season. You can count out Carson Wentz and Doug Pederson, yet it’s hard to be overly confident in them.

The Ravens should be confident going into the 2020 season. The 2019 season slate seemed more daunting. With that in mind, NFL Free Agency and the NFL Draft haven’t even happened yet. The teams are being remolded for the next season still. It’s early. It’s too early for a prediction (but that’s no fun). So give me 11 wins against this slate of opponent.
