Fourth Round:

My Team Needs:

WR

,

EDGE

,

LB

, IOL, S, IDL,

RB

A.J. Green. 124. player. 856. . Cornerback . Cowboys

Class: Senior

Height: 6’1″

Weight: 199 lbs

As the roster stands right now, cornerback isn’t necessarily a “need” but it definitely could be if Jimmy Smith and Brandon Carr move on in free agency. Having a cornerback named A.J. Green on the Ravens roster would be a bit ironic given the fact the other A.J. Green is nicknamed “The Raven Killer” but I like the addition. Green is a player who had a lot of hype coming into the 2019 College Football season but that slowly died down as he had a bumpy senior season. Green is one of the most athletic cornerbacks in the draft and plays with fluid technique but his biggest weakness is his strength and physicality. If Green can put on some muscle mass and work on his single arm jam he could become a real starter in year two.

Fifth Round:

My Team Needs:

WR

,

EDGE

,

LB

, IOL, S, IDL,

RB

, *

CB

Wide Receiver . Longhorns . Devin Duvernay . 152. player. 851.

Class: Senior

Height: 5’11”

Weight: 202 lbs

Devin Duvernay is purely a shot in the dark selection because he’s incredibly raw and has some serious route running issues but he has potential and in the 5th round you can take that gamble. Duvernay has a stocky frame and yet is incredibly explosive with a very physical playing style could translate. He has trouble releasing during press coverage but that’s something the Ravens wide receiver coaches can work on. His biggest traits are is his YAC (Yards after catch) and hands which is something this offense missed last season. Too often were receivers dropping catchable balls and that’s something we wouldn’t have to worry about with Devin Duvernay.

Summary:

Next. NFL Draft: 3 pass rushers perfect for the Ravens. dark

For most of my mock drafts I try to at least address the team’s top three needs and I was able to do that in the first three rounds this time around. The additions of Patrick Queen and Bradlee Anae would bolster the Ravens defense and fill voids that should have been addressed a year ago. Donovan Peoples-Jones and Anthony McFarland would add even more track speed to Lamar Jackson‘s offense which is said to be a goal for John Harbaugh. With the last two picks I was able to pickup two projects with a lot of potential so who knows, maybe one of them will be the next Chuck Clark.
