A.J. Green:

The best part about A.J. Green testing Free Agency is that if he leaves the Baltimore Ravens won’t have to go up against “the Raven killer two times a year anymore… well unless he stays in the AFC North, but that’s neither here nor there.

If Green were to stay in the AFC North, however, it makes a lot of sense that the Ravens would be the team to bring in his services.

Right now, Baltimore has Marquise Brown, Willie Snead, Miles Boykin, and Jaleel Scott under contract for 2020. While the group isn’t terrible, it leaves much to be desired. Adding Green to that group makes them more than good enough with some exciting potential.

The biggest gripe people will have here is that Green can’t stay healthy anymore. This is a major concern, but it could be a blessing in disguise, as the Ravens could get him on a cheaper deal or even a one-year “prove it” contract. The signing could be a low-risk, high-reward if the situation presents itself that way.

The biggest thing here for the Baltimore Ravens is to not splurge to sign A.J. Green. If his market value is too high he isn’t worth the risk. But, for the right deal, he’d make an excellent addition to this offense and give Lamar Jackson a target at any spot on the field.
