Compensatory picks for the 2020 NFL Draft have been granted and the Baltimore Ravens now have nine picks. Here’s a brand new mock draft w/ those selections.

The NFL has officially released its compensatory picks for the 2020 NFL Draft and the Baltimore Ravens have been awarded third and fourth-round picks. This is a nice surprise for Baltimore, who was unsure how high one of their compensatory picks would be after signing Earl Thomas to a big contract last offseason. The Ravens total amount of picks is now nine, with seven coming in the first four rounds.

Baltimore doesn’t have a ton of glaring needs or holes, but this amount of draft capital will allow the team to continue getting younger and cheaper while remaining a Super Bowl contender. Here’s a real quick seven-round mock draft with the updated picks for the Baltimore Ravens:

Round one:

. Linebacker. Tigers . Patrick Queen. 28. player. 817

The Baltimore Ravens have never drafted an LSU player until now. Patrick Queen is the ultimate sideline-to-sideline linebacker with the speed you’d expect from a Tigers’ linebacker. Queen was a monster in his junior season for the Tigers and is one of the biggest reasons the team’s defense kept pace with their historic offense en route to a National Championship. Queen excels in pass coverage, an area that Baltimore could use some help in, and is a day one starter and captain of the Ravens defense.

Round two:

Wide Receiver. Wolverines . Donovan Peoples-Jones. 60. player. 811.

Don’t let Donovan Peoples-Jones’ lack of production fool you; he was burdened by some of the worst quarterback and overall offensive play of the last ten years. What DPJ did with the little that was around him was remarkable. DPJ can get it done as both a receiver and a return man with a big frame, good hands, and solid speed. The Ravens will be able to flex DPJ throughout their offense and finally have legitimacy on special teams.
