Round Four:

My Team Needs: LB, IOL, EDGE, WR, TE, CB, IDL, RB

. IOL. Wolverines . Ben Bredeson. 129. player. 811

Class: Senior

Height: 6’5″

Weight: 316 lbs

With future Hall fo Famer Marshal Yanda retiring from the NFL after 13 seasons the Ravens are suddenly in need of a starting right guard. As such, this team is known for turning middle round offensive linemen into Pro Bowlers *cough Marshal Yanda cough* so I was confident I could find a replacement in the middle rounds. Ben Bredeson is the absolute perfect fit in Baltimore and has an attitude reminiscent of Yanda when looking at his scouting profile. He’s a road grader in the run game and best of all, he loves doing it. I think he would be really good in Baltimore’s power run scheme which is exactly what they need with Yanda’s retirement.

My Team Needs: LB, IOL, EDGE, WR, TE, CB, IDL, RB

EDGE . Orange . Alton Robinson. 134. player. 827.

Class: Senior

Height: 6’3″

Weight: 259 lbs

Alton Robinson is one of my favorite mid-late round pass rush options for Baltimore because he pretty much checks every box, he just needs to be coached up. He’s good in every category, but not great, which is why he’s so far down most teams draft boards. Given his raw pass rush ability I envision a rookie season similar to Jaylon Ferguson’s where he started off slow then stepped it up towards the end of the season. Robinson is a malleable piece of clay for this coaching staff and depth at the defensive line gives him time to develop before he’s thrown into the fire. Him being able to learn the game with fellow classmate Curtis Weaver would be huge as well.

Round Five:

My Team Needs: LB, IOL, EDGE, WR, TE, CB, IDL, RB

Wide Receiver . Badgers . Quintez Cephus . 157. player. 809.

Class: RS Junior

Height: 6’1″

Weight: 207 lbs

Quintez Cephus has quietly raised his draft stock since the combine and is one of the most under-the-radar wide receivers in the draft. He’s doesn’t have blazing speed (ran a 4.73 40-yard dash at the combine), but he plays with a dog mentality and that’s something Baltimore is lacking at the position. He has experience playing the Z, Y, and X role as a receiver which is good because most players this late in the draft are pigeon-holed to one specific role. Something else I noticed is he catches the ball with confidence and ease, something Ravens fans value more than most fan bases (see Breshad Perriman circa 2015-17). Also, did I mention the best cornerback in the draft named Quintez Cephus as the toughest receiver he faced?
