This Baltimore Ravens defense is dangerous. The secondary is absolutely loaded and the front-seven is retooled and ready to compete. Defensive coordinator Don Martindale will have a ton of fun with this defense in 2020.
The best part of the unit is that he contains so major swagger to it. There are so many guys on this defense that carry some strong passion for the sport and are major vocal leaders for the team as a whole. This defense just screams the mantra “Play like a Raven.” With all the talent and attitude that it has, this defense looks scary good.
The continuity of the group from 2019 to 2020 is huge, as are the aggressive additions that general manager Eric DeCosta has made this offseason. A great 2019 Baltimore Ravens defense already looks minuscule compared to the 2020 Baltimore Ravens defense. It’s all on paper as of now and they’ll have to prove it on the field first, but how can you not get excited about what we’re seeing?
