Cleveland Browns:

Once again, the Cleveland Browns came into the 2020 offseason guns blazing. The Browns splurged in Free Agency when adding offensive tackle Jack Conklin and tight end Austin Hooper to hopefully get the offense to match it’s potential. Kareem Hunt was also tendered and joins Nick Chubb to give the team arguably the best running back duo in football.

Baker Mayfield has to be happy with the investments the team is continuing to make around him. The Browns are clearly all in on Mayfield. The team holds the tenth pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and could easily get him another tackle to shore up their offensive line. If they do, there won’t be any excuses for Mayfield this year.

Must Read. Baltimore Ravens may be the only good fit for Antonio Brown. light

With the offense likely to be set and ready to go, the next step is to get the defense back in shape. The unit is helped by Myles Garrett getting reinstated by the league after his horrific incident last year. His presence instantly juices up the defense, but it still needs work. Don’t be surprised if Cleveland goes heavy in the 2020 NFL Draft on defensive investments.

This Cleveland Browns team won’t generate as much hype as they did last offseason, but maybe they should. Thus far this team looks much better and potentially has a better coaching staff and front office in place. The AFC North will once again have to take Cleveland more seriously than they have in the past.
