Seventh Round: Pick 225

. Cornerback. Hurricanes . Trajan Brady. 225. player. 834

The Ravens have arguably the most talented cornerback group in the NFL. But you can never have too many corners.

Bandy has a knack for forcing turnovers, and his tape is reminiscent of former Ravens corner Cary Williams, who put up four interceptions and 17 pass deflections when Baltimore made their Super Bowl run in 2012-2013. While Williams was also prone to over-aggressiveness that was at times costly, finding someone of his caliber in the seventh would be a steal for the Ravens.

Bandy proved himself to be a tenacious tackler at Miami, and put up some serious highlights coming in on corner blitzes, which plays well into Don Martindale’s blitz-heavy defense. Even if Young and Jimmy Smith both stay healthy in 2020, Bandy could get himself on the field in blitz packages and on special teams as soon as Week 1.

A now-healthy Tavon Young is back to replace the departed Brandon Carr, which should help keep the cornerback group as productive as in 2019. However, with Young coming off a neck injury and Smith notoriously injury-prone, it would be wise to find another corner that can step in if either have to miss time in 2020.
