The Big Three Wide Receivers

Even in this uncertain environment, color me stunned if all three of the so-called “big three” wide receivers (CeeDee Lamb, Jerry Jeudy, and Henry Ruggs III) are sitting there when the Ravens go on the clock in the first round. However, one could certainly fall.

Which would it be? My money would be on one of the Alabama receivers, as Lamb’s skillset would seem to fit in best with a team that lacks much in the way of complimentary wideouts. But it’s anyone’s guess. The reality is that reporters and unnamed front office sources have been putting it out there for months now that there’s not as much separation between many of the top receivers in this draft as some are making there out to be.

Out of 32 teams in the league, it would only take one or two teams falling in love with a Denzel Mims, Tee Higgins, Laviska Shenault, Brandon Aiyuk, or Michael Pittman Jr. to see one or even two of the big three receivers sitting there when the Ravens are on the clock.

Last year, we saw the Raiders and Giants make the surprising picks of Clelin Ferrell and Daniel Jones in the Top six, so it should stand to reason that if even the Top 6 can be that unpredictable, there’s no reason to think it’s a safe venture to peg down the three players who will be picked first out of their position in the middle of the first round.
