Mark Andrews: Stock up

Mark Andrews finished 2019 as TE2 in standard formats (fifth in PPR) and there’s reason to think he could replicate that in 2020. There is one less face to deal with in the Ravens tight end depth chart following the team’s trade of Hayden Hurst to the Atlanta Falcons (who has some awesome Fantasy Football value there). Andrews also has established chemistry with Lamar Jackson that resulted in 10 touchdown receptions.

Andrews is a consensus top-five tight end in Fantasy Football entering 2020 because his situation remains almost identical to his 2019 surroundings, if not even better. If not for Nick Boyle, who has some intriguing Fantasy Football value we’ll discuss in a second, Andrews could be the league’s top Fantasy Football tight end. The Baltimore Ravens offense is very tight end friendly and Andrews is one of the league’s best in general.

Don’t be surprised if he finishes safely inside the top-five once again in 2020.

Nick Boyle: Stock up

With the aforementioned Hayden Hurst no longer in Baltimore, Nick Boyle is an interesting tight end option in Fantasy Football. The tight end spot has never been deeper than it is in 2020, but Boyle could find a way to be relevant even as a team’s no.2 tight end on the depth chart. We’ve seen Philadelphia Eagles Dallas Goedert finish as the no.10 tight end in both standard and PPR formats in 2019 despite being behind Fantasy Football star Zach Ertz. Boyle could perhaps be in a similar position in 2020.

Boyle finished 2019 as the 38th ranked tight end in standard formats, but he had a career-year for the Ravens notching career-highs in receptions (31), yards (321), and touchdowns (2). With Hayden Hurst effectively out of the picture, Boyle secures his spot as Baltimore’s second tight end and will see a good volume of targets. All three of the team’s tight ends had at least 39 targets in 2019.

While Boyle isn’t likely a sure-fire starter I’d be shocked to see him finish outside of the top-20 tight ends in 2020. Take a flier on him late and you could reap the benefits.
