Baltimore Ravens:

2020 NFL Draft class: LB Patrick Queen, RB J.K. Dobbins, IDL Justin Madubuike, WR Devin Duvernay, LB Malik Harrison, IOL Tyre Phillips, IOL Ben Bredeson, IDL Broderick Washington Jr., WR James Proche, S Geno Stone

The Baltimore Ravens led the AFC North division in 2020 NFL Draft picks with a whopping 10 players. Baltimore did a good job assessing their needs and adding top-end talent to them while remaining true to their board and sniping guys for value. This was never more true than when the team took running back J.K. Dobbins.

Dobbins is the Ravens future at running back and makes an already strong running back room even better. Running back was far from a need here, but Baltimore is known for drafting for future need and they just locked up the position for the next four years.

Linebacker Patrick Queen headlines this class as the Ravens first-round pick and he’s an immediate starter on this defense. Baltimore needed help in coverage in the middle of their defense and Queen gives them just that. The Ravens also needed help stuffing the run better, so they doubled-down at the position and netted Malik Harrison. The duo of Queen and Harrison is a nasty one that could mature into one of the league’s best.

Baltimore furthered their draft value by adding two pieces to both their offensive and defensive lines; both positions where the team could’ve improved this offseason. And to top it off, the Ravens got Lamar Jackson two new weapons in the forms of wide receivers Devin Duvernay and James Proche. Both of these kids could be featured in the offense early on, with the latter of the two perhaps being the new return man.

It’s hard to give the Baltimore Ravens a grade worse than an A given the quantity and quality of their selections. There are a handful of selections here that can slide into large roles for the team early on and also gives the Ravens hope for the future. Baltimore got terrific value with nearly all their picks. If not for passing on an edge rusher, this class seems perfect.

The AFC North remains the Ravens to lose.
