3. Be named Offensive Rookie of the Year:

We’re talking about a running back coming in and boosting the best ground game in the NFL. If Dobbins accomplishes the first two goals, people are going to start talking about him as the Offensive Rookie of the Year. The Ravens are a team that should be contending for the top seed in the AFC in the 2020. If the Kansas City Chiefs are the team to beat, the Ravens are their biggest threat. There will be a very big stage for Dobbins in his rookie campaign. Offensive Rookie of the Year is possible.

This is setting the bar very high for Dobbins. The most likely scenario is that Dobbins has an impressive rookie season and shows that he can become an elite running back in the next couple of seasons. The Ravens don’t need him to be a game changer. They didn’t even need to add anything at the running back spot, and they aren’t going to ignore their other ball-carriers.

Next. The Ravens are all in on Lamar Jackson. dark

We’re not setting minimums though, we’re setting goals. Dobbins goal should be to come in and be the same exact player he was for Ohio State. His goal should be to be one of the most exciting players in the NFL. Dobbins is the kind of back that if he gets a full head of steam he’s gone. Ingram is the perfect combination of flash and substance. Edwards is a powerful hammer for the run game. Dobbins has power, but has a surplus of flashy ability. That’s the kind of raw and exciting stuff that the Offensive Rookie of the Year award is all about.
