Weeks 9-12

Week 9: Ravens @ Indianapolis Colts

Going to Indianapolis has been a bad thing for the Ravens. Much of that was because of Peyton Manning, but it’s still not a place with a ton of good memories for the Ravens. Phillip Rivers is going to make a solid Colts roster hard to handle. John Harbaugh isn’t losing after the bye week though. It’s not happening.

Way too early prediction: Ravens win 35-17

Week 10: Ravens @ New England Patriots (Sunday Night)

Going to New England won’t be the same for the Ravens now that Tom Brady won’t be involved in the game. I just don’t see the Patriots having the firepower to beat the Ravens. If the Patriots defense couldn’t stop Jackson, Mark Ingram and the Ravens last season, it will be even harder this time around. Even in New England, give me the Ravens to win this one.

Way too early prediction: Ravens win 34-7

Week 11: Ravens vs. Tennessee Titans

This is a revenge game for the Ravens. Beating the Titans won’t eliminate the memory of the playoff loss, however it will feel good. That seemed like a fluke where the Ravens got off to a bad start and never really found themselves. Look for the improved Ravens defense to have a showcase moment. Derrick Henry will get nothing going and the Ravens will win this one playing the way they should have in the playoff game (There’s still no excuse for that performance).

Way too early prediction: Ravens win 28-17

Week 12: Ravens @ Pittsburgh Steelers (Thanksgiving Night)

This just feels like a game that has to be tougher than it should be. The Ravens in Pittsburgh in a prime time game tends to make a classic game. The Ravens last trip to Pittsburgh ended in a fairly lucky win for Baltimore. While the Ravens are a better team this one just can’t be easy. Give me the Ravens to win, but in a tight one.

Way too early prediction: Ravens make you thankful by winning 23-20.
