5. Baltimore Ravens vs. New England Patriots

In years past, this game would be the number one on our list, but things have changed… particularly at quarterback.

In case you’ve been living under a rock, the New England Patriots will be featuring a new face at quarterback for the first time in a long time. Future Hall of Famer Tom Brady is gone to Tampa Bay and in now is second-year man Jarrett Stidham. Stidham, who played his college days at Baylor and Auburn, will be tasked with keeping the Patriots afloat and relevant in 2020 with a decent (at best offense) and retooling defense. If not for the team’s head coach being Bill Belichick, New England would be in a lot of trouble entering 2020.

Luckily for them, one of their toughest opponents, the Baltimore Ravens, has to come to Gillette Stadium. The game is also in the latter half of the season (week 10), so hopefully, the Patriots will have their situation figured out by then.

Unfortunately, this New England Patriots team simply doesn’t stack up well against this Baltimore Ravens team. New England will have to cope with several losses on defense and they will see a seismic difference in offensive production now that Brady is gone. That doesn’t bode well against one of the NFL’s best offenses and defenses.

This game could still be a good one, but it’s hard to believe it will be one of the premier matchups of the 2020 season. The Ravens put a whoopin’ on the Patriots last year in spite of the “close” score, and they only got better this offseason. New England got worse. This game won’t be close.
