This is the biggest game of the 2020 season. The reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs led by MVP Patrick Mahomes travel to Maryland to face off with the Baltimore Ravens and MVP Lamar Jackson. Both units have offenses that can put up big-time numbers and defenses that can make life hell on you. They’re the two best teams in football and we get to see them go at it in week three. It’ll be a test for both teams to establish dominance early in the 2020 season.
The Chiefs look like they could repeat as Super Bowl champs thanks to Mahomes. The 2018 league MVP and Super Bowl LIV MVP is the best quarterback in football that can beat you with his wicked arm and mobility. He has the best weapons in football, too, headlined by wide receiver Tyreek Hill and tight end Travis Kelce. KC also decided to make their offense even stronger with the addition of running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
Their defense isn’t elite, but it bites down when the going gets tough. Safety Tyrann Mathieu is one of the best in the business and the pass rush is nasty with edge rusher Frank Clark and defensive tackle Chris Jones leading the way.
Kansas City is simply built to give Baltimore fits. If Jackson isn’t on his A-game this will be a loss. If he is, the Ravens can take down the defending champs and send a message to the league that they are in fact the best team in the NFL in 2020.
