Mark Andrews ranked 100th

This is low for Andrews. George Kittle and Travis Kelce are ranked 18th and 20th respectively. Andrews is in the same class as those players or just below. Andrews is a big weapon for the Ravens offense.

His 64 receptions, 852 yards and 10 touchdowns are probably the highest numbers a tight end could etch out in the Ravens run heavy offense. Andrews may have less receptions and yards than Kittle or Kelce yet he may be even more important to his offense. He was the big time receiving threat on the Ravens and if Marquise Brown had an off game he was the only big time receiving threat.

Putting Zach Ertz and Darren Waller ahead of Andrews makes him Prisco’s fifth best tight end. Andrews is getting some much needed respect here, but I’d still put him in the top three. Andrews is on his way to being the best tight end the Ravens ever had. The Ravens had great play from Shannon Sharpe, but for a short time and past his prime. The Ravens had great tight end play from Todd Heap, but Andrews is probably the most gifted tight end the Ravens have ever had. This is a superstar level player.

Give Mr. Prisco some credit because this is a good list. Most of the players that should be on the list are on the list. While I’m not in love with the order of some of the list, there are a lot of names in the right spots. While he has some of Baltimore’s elite talent ranked lower than he probably should have it’s cool to see five Ravens getting some love from the CBS Sports columnist.
