New York Jets:

The New York Jets have a serious need for pass-rushing help. Jordan Jenkins is the team’s only proven edge rusher, while former 2019 third overall pick Quinnen Williams has a lot to prove on the interior. Those two aren’t nearly enough to generate a consistent and effective pass rush, however.

That’s where the addition of Matt Judon comes into play.

Judon lining up opposite of Jenkins would give the Jets two reliable edge rushers to make life miserable for opposing quarterbacks. If Williams can grow into the player we know he’s capable of becoming, that front-seven just got a whole lot nastier. Factor in their terrific inside linebackers C.J. Mosley and Avery Williamson and this defense looks like a top-15 unit.

It also helps that the New York Jets seem to really like adding former Baltimore Ravens to their roster. If there were a team primed to make a move for Matt Judon, the Jets seem like the most likely to do so.
