5. New York Jets: Ja’Marr Chase, WR, LSU

Sam Darnold needs a true no.1 wide receiver in New York. Yes, he has some good options in guys like Jamison Crowder and Denzel Mims, but neither are true X-receivers. Insert 2019 Fred Biletnikoff Award winner Ja’Marr Chase. Chase is the total package and would’ve been the top receiver in both the 2019 and 2020 NFL Drafts if he were available. He is in for the 2021 NFL Draft and the New York Jets will capitalize.

6.  New York Giants: Micah Parsons, LB, Penn State

The New York Giants won’t give up on Daniel Jones just yet. Instead, they go on the defensive side of the ball and get their quarterback of the defense in Penn State’s Micah Parsons. Parsons is top-notch, with very little he doesn’t do well. He’ll flourish in a defense full of big bodies in front of him to keep him free and make plays.

Ravens: A trade for Jamal Adams would be worth the cost. light. Must Read

7. Miami Dolphins: Samuel Cosmi, OT, Texas

Now that the Miami Dolphins have a franchise-caliber quarterback in Tua Tagovailoa they must commit to protecting him. Texas tackle Samuel Cosmi is a great start in that direction, as he’s a long and smooth operator that will keep his quarterback’s jersey clean.

8. Las Vegas Raiders: Justin Fields, QB, Ohio State

The Las Vegas Raiders cannot pass on a quarterback if they are drafting this high in the 2021 NFL Draft. Derek Carr is fine, but he’s expensive and replaceable at this point in his career. Here, we give the team a playmaking superstar in Heisman Trophy contender Justin Fields. Fields does it as both a passer (40 touchdown passes to three interceptions) and a runner (10 rushing touchdowns) and will be a top jersey seller the moment Sin City adds him to their team.
