17. Jacksonville Jaguars (via Los Angeles Rams): Trey Smith, OL, Tennessee

The Jacksonville Jaguars landed their franchise quarterback with their first pick, now they must commit to protecting him. Tennessee’s Trey Smith can be an elite-level guard or even a good tackle if need be. Smith is the most intriguing offensive line prospect in the 2021 NFL Draft.

18. Tennessee Titans: Patrick Surtain II, CB, Alabama

The Tennessee Titans could certainly afford to get better and younger at cornerback and they do that with shutdown cornerback Patrick Surtain II. Surtain II has NFL bloodlines (his father was a three-time Pro Bowler) with great size and length to be a team’s top-dog at the next level.

19. Green Bay Packers: DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama

For some reason, the Green Bay Packers opted to pass on drafting a wide receiver in the 2020 NFL Draft. They cannot make that same mistake in the 2021 NFL Draft. They don’t and go ahead and add Alabama’s leading receiver from a year ago, DeVonta Smith. Smith has a good size profile with soft hands and good speed that will complement Davante Adams well.

20. Buffalo Bills: Carlos Basham, EDGE, Wake Forest

The current edge rushers on the Buffalo Bills roster are on the wrong side of 30-years old, so getting younger is a must for a defense that is absolutely loaded. Wake Forest’s Carlos Basham is a productive and long edge rusher who will fit nicely into what Buffalo likes to do when it comes to rushing the passer.
