4. Chris Moore

Moore is a former fourth round pick out of the University of Cincinnati. Moore has never been the most productive on offense, having his best season in 2018 with 19 receptions for 196 yards. But, Moore has made a handful of plays on offense utilizing his speed and makes most of his impact on special teams.

The Ravens are one of the most special teams oriented franchises in the league. The team always have a few special teams aces on their team that they can rely on, Moore is the Ravens gunner and an option as a returner. As a gunner Moore is on the coverage units, on punts you will see him near the sideline and Sam Koch typically angles the kick in a way for Moore to be able to make a play. Moore, downs the ball in the opposing teams territory frequently and also holds his own on kickoff coverage.

Although he may be a special teams specialist and probably the sixth receiver, Moore is the second most experienced receiver on the team. With two draft picks in back to back years, Moore and Willie Snead are the only players with true experience in the wide receiver room. With only two natural tight ends on the roster the receivers need to play a role. Even if not on the field Moore needs to be a good mentor to the group and play his role.

Moore will see the field this season and due to the youth at the position, I believe will take a step forward from last season, although small. Moore was projected not to make many mock rosters, but now that he is on the field despite battling injury, expect him to make an impact and fight for his next contract.
