Tight Ends:

Analysis– Entering this season, each of these teams has new tight end groups, albeit new in different ways. The Browns spent big money to add Austin Hooper to their team. With Hooper, they now have a solid inline tight end to go with David Njoku, who is really better as an over-sized slot receiver. The Ravens, on the other hand, traded away Hayden Hurst to the Atlanta Falcons, and plan to feature more of their duo of Nick Boyle and Mark Andrews as well as using more of Patrick Ricard.

Going into this game the key is going to be the linebacker play from each team. With both teams losing starters at Linebacker and replacing them in their own ways, the tight ends will be a game-changer. If one team can control the middle of the field, they will win. Look for both teams to try to get their tight ends involved early and often. Both teams have strong groups and they should each contribute a lot each week. Look for week one to be a good starting point.

Prediction:

Mark Andrews- six receptions, 80 receiving yards, one touchdown

Nick Boyle- four receptions, 40 receiving yards, one touchdown

Patrick Ricard- one reception, five receiving yards, one touchdown
