Wide Receiver

Analysis-

Explosiveness, that is the name of this group of players. Both of these teams have built similar receiving cores. They focus on having a reliable tight end over the middle and speed on the outside. Tyreek Hill and Hollywood Brown are two of the fastest players in the NFL and look for them to put on a show on national TV. Both of these players have attention directed at them from the defense in the form of safety help over the top. With focus and attention on the top targets and tight ends, the rest of the receiving groups should get a chance to show themselves in this match up.

Looking back at last season, Willie Snead had three receptions and Hollywood Brown and Seth Roberts had two a piece as the entire passing game was slowed down. For the Chiefs, they played last season without Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins stepped up with five receptions. Travis Kelce led the way receiving, but Demarcus Robinson caught three balls and a touchdown. With Hill back in the fold and a healthy Brown, this game will look slightly different to last years with more speed on the field.

In this game the receivers of the Ravens will have an All Pro duo at cornerback in Marlon Humphrey and Marcus Peters and they will be essential to stop the Chiefs. For Kansas City they will need to keep the ball in front of them and not allow big plays. This area will be more on the Quarterbacks, if they chose to target their tight ends a lot then the receivers may be pretty silent. But, if these teams can get some big plays from their receivers, expect a high scoring game.
