29. Green Bay Packers: Terrace Marshall, WR, LSU
This fit is just too much fun. The Packers showed they don’t value drafting wide receivers after forgoing the position in a deep 2020 NFL Draft class, but they shouldn’t do that twice; not when the 2021 NFL Draft class has tons of talent, as well. Terrace Marshall is an above-the-rim kind of receiver who dominates in the red-zone. Green Bay will have three huge options for Aaron Rodgers to throw touchdowns to between Marshall, Davante Adams, and Allan Lazard.
30. Buffalo Bills: Tyson Campbell, CB, Georgia
Tre’Davious White is a top-five cornerback in all of football, but he could use a partner-in-crime. Insert Tyson Campbell, the big-man from Georgia. Campbell would make it nearly impossible for opposing quarterbacks to throw on this Bills secondary and give its pass rush more time to get home and sack the quarterback.
31. New York Jets (via Seattle Seahawks): Hamilcar Rashed Jr., EDGE, Oregon State
The Jets got its quarterback of the future in Trevor Lawrence to kick off the 2021 NFL Draft. Now at the end of day one, it grabs a much-needed edge rusher. Rashed Hamilcar Jr. may not be the biggest edge rusher you’ve ever seen, but he’s an absolute blur that knows how to sack the quarterback.
32. Kansas City Chiefs: Trey Smith, IOL, Tennessee
What do you get for the team that has everything? More protection for your franchise quarterback. Trey Smith is as good as any offensive lineman in the 2021 NFL Draft class as long as he’s back to being 100% healthy. Smith will skyrocket up boards if he continues his dominant play, but for now, the Chiefs are more than happy to snatch him up and plug him into their offensive line.
