Darin McCann:

I like what the Bengals are doing. They have a nice collection of skill players, a possible rising star at quarterback in Joe Burrow, and some genuine talent scattered amongst its defense. The problem, however, is they have some pretty big holes at different parts of their team, such as the offensive line and the defensive back seven — two pretty critical units in today’s NFL.

The Ravens have better depth up and down their roster, a better quarterback today, a more-proven coaching staff, and a scheme that tends to wear down teams with depth issues by the time the fourth quarter comes around.

This is a recipe for a win this week for the Ravens.

I could see this one being within a score at halftime, in single figures after three quarters, and a comfortable three-score win when the clock gets to 0:00.

Bold predictions
• Gus Edwards goes over 75-yards, registers a touchdown, and has at least one run for more than 20-yards. The Bengals have a good defensive line, and the Ravens have to keep coming after it with a stable of talented running backs and rugged tight ends. Edwards is the guy who can break it down in the fourth quarter.

Calais Campbell registers a sack, as does Tyus Bowser and Chuck Clark. The Ravens will play a ton of coverages against Burrow, and keep the blitzers coming from close to the line of scrimmage.

• Lamar Jackson throws for more than 250-yards, runs for more than 70-yards, and totals four touchdowns.
