4. Baltimore Ravens, 4-1 (5)

The defense looked absolutely dominant against an overwhelmed Bengals team, and, really, the defense has looked pretty good all season, outside a tough performance against Kansas City. The offense, on the other hand, is sputtering a little bit.

Still, “sputtering” for this offense is different from “sputtering” Ravens’ offenses in the past. Even in an uneven performance, Lamar Jackson is good enough to make enough plays to generate points, and players like Mark Andrews, Marquise Brown, Devin Duvernay, and J.K. Dobbins offered their own splash plays this past week. If the running game can get on track, even against stacked boxes, this team will be trouble for opponents going forward.

The ball-hawking defense makes this team very dangerous.

3. Kansas City Chiefs, 4-1 (1)

They lost to the Raiders, which certainly caught much of the NFL-watching world by surprise. But it’s hard to go undefeated, and things happen. This team is still the team to beat, and it will be interesting to see how they bounce back against Buffalo.

2. Seattle Seahawks, 5-0 (4)

The Seahawks offense looked lethargic against the Vikings until, well, they needed to wake up and produce. Guess what happened? They woke up and produced. Their defense is the only thing holding them back right now, and it’s hard not to trust Pete Carroll and company to at least make things a little better on that side of the ball as the year goes on.

1. Green Bay Packers, 4-0 (3)

They didn’t play this weekend, which helped them jump over the Chiefs and the Bills. But when they have taken the field, they have been pretty dominant on both sides of the ball. There are lots of games left (hopefully), so we’ll see how this shakes out, but they have been dominant to this point.
