Ravens Rivals: Takeaways around the AFC North after week five

Cleveland Browns: Finding their rhythm
It appears the Cleveland Browns have actually turned into a solid professional football team, perhaps one that can compete in the AFC North. I’ve spent countless weeks talking about how much talent the Browns have, and now it seems they have found the right coach in Kevin Stefanski to piece it together. The Browns defeated the Colts 32-23 on Sunday, improving their record to 4-1 for the first time since 1994.
Again the running game seemed to open up passing opportunities for Baker Mayfield, who seems a lot more composed since the embarrassing week one loss against Baltimore. Mayfield finished 21-37, throwing for 247 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. At times, Mayfield seemed to get back to his comfort level that we saw when he was at Oklahoma, slinging the ball to Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry. However, Mayfield will have to limit the turnovers if the Browns want to go from good to great.
Regardless, the Browns are in a better spot now than I’ve ever seen them in my 21-years of life. Cleveland actually looks like a team that can make some noise in November and December. The defense still has much to work on, especially in their secondary, but Myles Garrett wreaks enough havoc upfront to force turnovers for the Browns defense.
The Browns will travel to face the undefeated Steelers in Pittsburgh this upcoming Sunday at 1 p.m.
