@Parham_russ asks: How can the Ravens offset the lack luster play of the offensive line? Quick passes I think the run will be neutralized. Thoughts?

Answer: This is a game that Nick Boyle and Pat Ricard should earn their paychecks, helping in pass protection. Screens are needed in this game. I also think it would be a good idea for the Ravens to get Jackson rolling out and moving the pocket. The more Jackson can impact this game with his legs the better. The bye week may have helped him and you may see more confidence in his running ability. Scrambles that break for a big gain make the Steelers pay for pass rush. Jackson has to account for some of it on his own. It’s not easy but he has to play under pressure well.

The biggest thing that will help is burning the Steelers deep down the field though, as it loosens up the numbers in the front seven. The problem here is it’s kind of a catch 22. You have to take shots down the field but you can’t let the pass rush of the Steelers ruin those shots down the field.

If you hit Marquise Brown, Mark Andrews and Devin Duvernay down the field, it changes how the Steelers have to play this game. If you loosen up the run game, the run game can be there. So the real answer to your question is challenge the Steelers pass rush to exploit their secondary. This is a chance taking game and that’s the chance that must be taken. Don’t be shocked to see the Ravens be aggressive. If they play bottled up, Pittsburgh gets what they want.

@Bij_Sadoughi asks: Any more trades happen before the deadline?

Answer: Probably, maybe, I don’t know, all of the above. Every indication is that the Ravens aren’t done trying to make a move, Eric DeCosta has told the media basically that much. The Ravens signed Dez Bryant to the practice squad. You have to think that this indicates they know they need more from their pass catchers.

Next. How the Ravens can beat the Steelers. dark

The Ravens are tight against the cap, but I’m not betting against Eric DeCosta. I’m still pounding the table for a shocking trade like getting Kenny Golladay from the Detroit Lions or Michael Gallup from the Dallas Cowboys. We shall see. I didn’t expect the Yannick Ngakoue trade, I just thought there’d be a move. That’s how I’m thinking of this. I don’t know what the move would be, or even how big it can be, I just think there will be one more deal done.
