28. Washington Whatchamacallits, 2-5 (26)

The bye week didn’t help the Whatchamacallits in our rankings this week because two teams behind them found wins. Still, they didn’t do anything to cause negative attention on the field this week. That’s a win, right?

27. Houston Texans, 1-6 (24)

I’ve had a difficult time ranking the Texans this low because of Deshaun Watson, but he’s probably the only reason they’re even ranked this highly if we’re being honest. Nothing is working for this team this season, and the draft cupboard doesn’t look promising, either.

26. Cincinnati Bengals, 2-5-1 (29)

And there you have it — the Bengals had a great day and got a signature win with their 31-20 takedown of the Titans. This team has some hope, especially with their young signal-caller, and days like this helped everybody remember that hope.

25. Atlanta Falcons, 2-6 (28)

Raise your hand if you thought the Falcons were going to blow that game against the Panthers. It’s ok. A lot of us did. But they got the win, and wins have been few and far between for this franchise since… 28-3.
