The injury reports matters for this game:

The Ravens have no players listed as out for this contest, yet Calais Campbell and Brandon Williams are doubtful. Jimmy Smith and L.J. Fort are both listed as questionable. Even if Campbell and/or Williams ends up playing, they probably will have a rough time playing up to their normal levels.

The defense is either going to have a hard time in this game or they will surprise us with an effort completely improved from last week. The Ravens had a hard time stopping Damien Harris last week. The Ravens have a haunted recent history with Derrick Henry so the likely absences on defense are a big deal. This is also a game where the Ravens could need L.J. Fort. It’s all hands on deck for the linebackers.

On offense, the Ravens are without Nick Boyle and Ronnie Stanley for the rest of the season. The Ravens have gotten used to not having Stanley by now, but Nick Boyle being out is a new problem to get used to. The injury bug has found the Ravens and now they’re just hoping it doesn’t get any worse.

Injuries are a big deal for the Titans as well. The Titans have six players out for this game. The most notable hits for the Titans are on the offensive and defensive lines. Roger Saffold will not go in this one for the Titans’ offensive line. Jadeveon Clowney and Larrell Murchison are both out for the defensive front.

It will be interesting to see who wins the battle of the trenches. The Ravens’ defensive line is getting to play the Titans on the right week, especially considering they are a bit shorthanded. It is hard to remember a game where injuries have played this big of a role on both sides of the contest.
