Last call:

@GreatnessCalls: Without Denzel Ward will this be a big game for Marquise Brown?

Answer: You never know what you’re going to get out of Marquise Brown, but he clearly has an opportunity here. Denzel Ward is indeed listed as out for this game and that’s a big hit for the Browns. It’s also possible that the Jackson to Hollywood connection was revived a bit against the Cowboys. Put him down for six catches and one big play. That sounds about right.

@DJ_BMORE asks: What formation will get the most yards per play?

Answer: The answer is anything but empty sets. When the Ravens go with an empty backfield it hasn’t been all that effective and it puts it all on Jackson to be elusive or to release the football quickly. They really need to stop doing that.

The pistol is always good for Jackson. You recapture the 2019 Ravens with that look, it’s vintage Jackson stuff. This is where you get the mesh point goodness. I’d actually be very interested in looking up the yards per play out of each personnel group. That sounds like a good deep dive for another day.

The one thing I can tell you is that the Ravens need to attack the entire field and put more pressure on the secondary of the opposing defense. That’s a must. An absolute must. Spread it out, use more of your receivers and play to Jackson’s strengths.

@edthehead84 asks: Which offensive coordinator would make the better head coach: Byron Leftwich or Eric Bieniemy?

Answer: If the Ravens fail to reach their goals, they could decide it’s time to move on from John Harbaugh. Therefore I will entertain this question. I would take Bieniemy any day of the week because he should already be a head coach. The Andy Reid teachings worked wonders for John Harbaugh. If the Ravens were going to move on (which is why I think you asked the question) they may look for some of the same things a young Harbaugh had.

When you watch the Chiefs, the offense is just brilliant. They have amazing players and amazing coaches. Ried and Bieniemy make a great pairing and both are football geniuses. If the Ravens have learned anything it’s that they need more than one year’s supply of creativity. Bieniemy has an unlimited amount of fresh ideas.  I do like what Leftwich is doing in Tampa Bay, but it was Bieniemy’s turn a long time ago.

I don’t think the Ravens will end up parting with Harbaugh. It’s still something to always be thinking about. Sometimes you have to ask: Is the grass greener on the other side.
