@Snedjd asks: Who do you think the Ravens will take with their first pick? Will Orlando Brown be traded at the draft?

Answer: I have a sneaky suspicion that the Ravens will get a trade done right before the NFL Draft. If Brown Jr. isn’t traded before the NFL Draft begins or at some point in the first round it may not happen. Deadlines make things happen and force the issue sometimes. If the Ravens trade Brown Jr., it will change their draft strategy. The predictions would have to come after I knew what the Purple And Black were working with.

If the Ravens get the first-round pick of the Chargers, they’re going to be thinking offensive tackle or game-changer. At pass rusher that would mean possibly Jealean Phillips out of Miami. At wide receiver, there would be a chance that Devonta Smith was an option. If the Ravens traded with the Colts you’re looking at a lot of the same names we’ve been talking about at 27 overall.

Let’s just look at 27 though, because that was your first question. I’m going to take a stab at it, a guess based on the information we have at the current moment. If I had to guess I would say that Azeez Ojulari would be the guy. Ask me again tomorrow I’ll probably have a different answer for you. Ask me again the next day I could change it once more. There are a lot of ways this whole thing could go.

Here is why I like Ojulari at 27. He’s very much in the mold of the pass rushers the Ravens tend to gravitate to. He’s 6-3 and is about 240 pounds. He’s explosive, he comes from a great college program with the Georgia Bulldogs and he has a high motor.
