Rashod Bateman:
Check out our grade for the selection of Rashod Bateman.
Ravens Flock was practically begging for this pick to become a reality and when Rashod Bateman was on the board with the 27th pick it felt surreal. I remember standing there in disbelief that this could be happening, and then it did. Now, Bateman joins an absolutely loaded Baltimore Ravens offense.

Factor in Gus Edwards in the run game and some upside from Devin Duvernay and you’re looking at one of the five best offenses in the league. The Ravens will once again be hard to stop.
Rejoice, RavensFlock! Ravens take Rashod Bateman. Lamar Jackson has a stud at WR.

Yeaaaaah… Ravens Flock should be extremely excited.
So in last three drafts, the Ravens have used two first-round picks on WRs (Marquise Brown, Rashod Bateman), two third rounders (Miles Boykin, Devin Duvernay) and one sixth rounder (James Proche). DeCosta vowed to take more swings at a troublesome position and he has.

But Baltimore hasn’t been trying to help Lamar Jackson, right?
Eric DeCosta has CLEARLY been trying to make a historically weak position for the franchise a strength and he invested his second day one selection in three years into Bateman. Bateman now joins Marquise Brown to give the Ravens an explosive duo out wide.
Eric DeCosta said Rashod Bateman was a "very easy pick to make."

A toddler could’ve made this pick, but it doesn’t make it any less special to us. EDC is hell-bent on making wide receiver one of the team’s strengths and the selection of Bateman solidifies that.

Trust us, Ramey, we’re pretty stoked about the pick, too. The upside of this duo is through the roof.
