2. Los Angeles Rams

Lamar Jackson vs. Aaron Donald. The unstoppable force vs. the immovable object. Who wouldn’t want to watch that?

The Los Angeles Rams are the team the Baltimore Ravens will face in their “bonus” interconference matchup, as part of the NFL’s new 17-game schedule. If we’re lucky, it could very well serve as a Super Bowl preview.

The last time these two teams met, it wasn’t even close. Lamar Jackson and the high-powered Baltimore offense flattened Los Angeles, 45-6 in a Monday Night matchup in November 2019. Don’t expect that to happen again in 2021 — last season, the Rams’ defense improved by leaps and bounds, finishing first in both yards and points allowed.

Plus, this time around, Lamar Jackson won’t be the only star quarterback on the field. Los Angeles comes packing their new quarterback, Matthew Stafford, who they picked up in a trade from the Detroit Lions this offseason. Stafford has lost both of his prior matchups against the Ravens, in both 2013 and 2017 while he was with the Lions.
