The Baltimore Ravens have been one of the teams most closely tied to rumors surrounding superstar Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones.

With the Falcons looking to shed salary and go in a different direction, Jones has been the subject of various trade rumors this offseason. And the latest reports indicate that they are looking to trade him before the start of the 2021 season.

The Athletic’s Jeff Schultz reported on Thursday that the Falcons “would like” to trade Jones. That doesn’t mean it will happen, but it’s something they are exploring.

And the Ravens were listed as one of a handful of teams that could be interested.

General manager Eric DeCosta reportedly checked in on Jones’ market earlier in the offseason, although talks never progressed beyond that.

Let’s get one thing out of the way first. The Ravens are unlikely to trade for Julio Jones.

Jones is still an exceptional player when healthy and one of the most talented receivers in the league, but the Ravens no longer have the desire or cap flexibility to make a serious run at Jones.

That said, crazier things have happened. And the organization hasn’t exactly shied away from making moves for star players in the past.

A Jones trade may be unlikely, but it’s not out of the conversation entirely. What might it take to get a deal done, however?

We explore four potential trade packages that could land Julio Jones in Baltimore.
