The Baltimore Ravens‘ organization has been known for producing great teams throughout the course of its 25-year history. It’s no surprise that the Ravens have a group of three players that are ranked among the NFL’s best.

On Friday, CBS Sports writer Jared Dubin ranked the top ‘triplets’ in the NFL. Coming in at No. 9 on the list were the Ravens.

The triplet consists of quarterback Lamar Jackson, running back J.K. Dobbins, and tight end Mark Andrews. These three players were consistently finding themselves making plays for the team last season.

In a year that was ravaged by COVID-19, these three players remained among the most intact when teams were falling apart.

Here’s why they found themselves in the top-10.

Lamar Jackson, QB, Baltimore Ravens

Jackson is the best player on the Ravens despite what some critics might say. His performance on the field is unlike any other that has been seen before.

During the 2020 season, despite not duplicating his 2019 MVP performance, Jackson was still one of the best quarterbacks on the field.

His incredible play on the gridiron showed that.

In his 15 starts during the regular season, Jackson completed 242-of-376 passing attempts with a completion percentage of 64.4, had 2,757 yards in the air, and 26 passing touchdowns.

However, what Jackson is most known for is what he is able to do with his feet.

Jackson rushed for 1,005 yards and scored seven touchdowns with his legs. The former MVP rushed for 1,000 or more yards in consecutive seasons after totaling over 1,200 yards on the ground in 2019.

The dual-threat quarterback has taken the league by storm and should continue to awe fans in 2021.
