2. The Ravens could trade Miles Boykin

The Ravens made it a point of emphasis to upgrade what was a pretty lackluster group of wide receivers last season. And they did so by adding the likes of Sammy Watkins, Rashod Bateman, and Tylan Wallace in the offseason.

That’s good news for Lamar Jackson and the team’s struggling passing attack. But it’s bad news for some of the incumbent players on the roster — namely Miles Boykin.

Boykin has been somewhat of a disappointment over the first two years of his career doing very little with the opportunities he’s been given.

The former third-round pick has hauled in just 32 catches in two years despite 24 starts and 32 total games over that time. He’s been ineffective and, quite frankly, invisible at times.

Aside from the team’s three offseason additions, players such as Devin Duvernay and James Proche — who arguably have higher upsides — will also be competing for snaps.

Boykin could be the odd-man-out. But there’s a chance the Ravens might be able to swindle a late-round pick for him if he shows out this summer.

The 6-foot-4, 220-pound Boykin has some untapped potential and could be a better fit in an offense that highlights his strengths.

Some team might be willing to take a flyer on him for a Day 3 pick. And if so, don’t expect the Ravens to hesitate.
