Best Players Under 25 on Ravens Roster – No. 5: Patrick Queen (21)

With one year of Ravens football under his belt, Patrick Queen enters his age-22 season with a lot of expectations surrounding him. Queen turns 22 next month, which gives the Ravens one of the best young linebackers in the league.

Baltimore spent a first-round pick on Queen in last year’s draft, taking him No. 28 overall and expecting him to pack a punch in the Ravens’ defense, which he did as a rookie.

Queen started all 16 regular-season games, showing he’s durable, and finished the season with 106 tackles (nine for loss), 10 quarterback hits, three sacks, two defended passes, two forced fumbles, and an interception.

It was a nice debut from the LSU linebacker and he’s one of the young studs on the defensive side of the ball.

Queen proved he can be a tackling machine, notching over 100 tackles during his rookie season, and that’s a skill that can’t be overlooked, especially with the Ravens having to face the run-heavy Browns twice a year.

Fans are looking forward to seeing Queen’s follow-up performance and considering he’ll be just 22 years old this season, the sky is the limit for what this kid can do moving forward.
