Best Players Under 25 on Ravens Roster – No. 4: Marquise Brown (24)

When the Ravens took Marquise Brown in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft, they did so with the hope that he’d become the WR1 that Lamar Jackson needed to excel in the passing game.

That hasn’t quite happened to this point but there’s no denying that Brown is one of the most talented players on the team and he’s only 24 years old.

Brown is coming off a season in which he totaled 58 receptions for 769 yards and eight touchdowns. It was a nice year for Hollywood, but he’s still yet to put up a 1,000-yard receiving season and that’s the goal for him this year.

The Ravens made it a point to give Jackson more receiving help this year but Brown is hopefully going to be his go-to guy moving forward. He’s appeared in double-digit games in each of his two seasons and there’s still a lot we haven’t seen from Brown to this point in his career.

Brown can be a frustrating player to watch due to the number of drops he has and his inconsistencies. When he’s at his best, he’s a speedy wideout who can do a lot of damage for this Ravens offense and is the unquestioned No. 1 wide receiver.

At just 24 years old, there’s no reason to think this won’t be a career year for Brown.
