Best Players Under 25 on Ravens Roster – No. 3: J.K. Dobbins (22)

The Ravens drafted J.K. Dobbins with their second-round pick in last year’s draft and it gave them another lethal rusher to add to their arsenal.

He proved he was the perfect running back for this team and had the rookie numbers to prove it, rushing for 805 yards and nine touchdowns last year.

With Mark Ingram no longer in the picture, Dobbins is the starting running back in the Ravens’ offense, which wasn’t the case a season ago. He appeared in 15 games, but he’ll be tasked with a much larger role now.

At 22 years old (he turns 23 in December), Dobbins has a chance to stake his claim as one of the best running backs in the league this year and he’s in the perfect offense to put up insane numbers.

The Ravens are definitely a run-first offense and that bodes well for the former Buckeye.

Somewhere it’d be nice to see Dobbins utilized more this year would be as a pass-catcher, as he caught just 18 receptions for 120 yards as a rookie. Getting him more involved in that aspect of the game would make him even more dangerous.
