The Baltimore Ravens are quickly approaching 2021 training camp with just over two weeks to go until the team departs for Owings Mills.
The team has already made numerous additions this offseason, but could they look at make at least one more before training camp kicks off? It’s certainly a possibility.
The Ravens have just under $9 million remaining in cap space with their only obligations being eventually tiny contracts to both third-round picks, Brandon Stephens and Ben Cleveland.
That means Baltimore has a little bit of money to spend if they want to make another minor addition. And that addition could very well come on the free-agent market.
The Ravens have connections to a number of different players remaining on the open market. Some of these players have already visited with the team earlier this offseason making a potential signing much more likely.
While others have somewhat loose connections and likely won’t be on the radar of the organization.
Either way, it pays to have connections in the NFL — and life in general. And the four players we’re going to discuss on this list have that connection with the Ravens organization.
Will it lead anywhere? Only time will tell.
Let’s take a look at four current free agents who have prior connections with the Ravens.
